Answer: The Fountain is made from stainless steel, inside and out.
2. How Does The Chocolate Get To The Top Of The Fountain?
Answer: Inside the fountain is a specially designed stainless steel corkscrew that rotates and brings the melted chocolate from the basin to the top . The chocolate will then overflow and cascade down the fountain and back into the basin.
3. Does The Chocolate Fountain Use Real Chocolate?
Answer: Yes, we use a high quality Belgian Coverture Chocolate. This is done for two reasons: First and foremost - Taste is of utmost importance and we will not compromise quality. Secondly, the quality, consistency and flow of the chocolate will be much more appealing.
4. What Is Coverture Chocolate?
Answer: Coverture chocolate is a high quality chocolate that contains extra cocoa butter (32-39%). The higher percentage of cocoa butter, combined with the processing, gives the chocolate a creamy mellow flavor and allows the chocolate to flow through the fountain more elegantly.
5. How Much Chocolate Do You Provide?
Answer: Our pricing includes 22 pounds of high quality Belgian chocolate. In most scenarios, this will be more than enough chocolate. However, for events that require more chocolate, we offer you the ability to purchase additional chocolate in 5 pound increments.
6. How Many People Does Each Fountain Serve?
Answer: The tall Fountain serves approximately up to 150 people, and the extra tall fountain serves 150 plus. However, both can serve an unlimited number of people by adding additional chocolate.
7. What Sizes Do The Fountains Come In?
Answer: The tall fountain is 29" high and 16" in diameter. The extra tall fountian is 40" high and 16" diameter.They weigh approximately 100 pounds when filled with chocolate.
8. Do I Have To Set Up, Tear Down & Clean Up The Chocolate Fountain?
Answer: Our price includes the set up, tear down and clean up of the fountian.
9. How Long Can I Have The Chocolate Fountain At My Event?
Answer: Our package includes use of The Chocolate Fountain for 2.5 hours. This is usually plenty of time for most occasions. However, additional rental time is available for $15 for an extra 1/2 hour or $25 per hour This does not include set up and tear down, which are done on our time.
10. What Are The Table & Electrical Requirements?
Answer: Since The Chocolate Fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level, sturdy table is a must, a round table is preferred. If it is not level, the chocolate will not flow properly. The Chocolate Fountain requires a 120 volt grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the set-up location.
11. What Do You Suggest For Dipping Items?
Answer: Any kind of fruit, hard cookies, pretzels or cakes that do not crumble. Use your imagination, but please keep in mind any food that crumbles may cause the fountain to not work properly and the chocolate to get lumpy.
12. Who Provides The Dipping Items?
Answer: Many banquet facilities do not allow outside vendors to provide food items. It will either be included with your package or an additional item for you to purchase through the banquet facility. If this is not the case, you may have already booked a caterer to provide your event with appetizers. With that in mind, our package does not include the dipping items. However, accompaniments can be provided for an additional cost.
13. Can The Chocolate Fountain Be Used Outdoors?
Answer: The Chocolate Fountain will only operate in enclosed areas. Because of the chocolate's sweet aroma, little flying creatures are very likely to be attracted to the fountain. Beyond that, maintaining the temperature of chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation. This would be difficult to accomplish in an outside setting.
14. What Area Do You Service?
Answer: Our price includes delivery within a 45 mile radius of Appleton, however we will deliver anywhere within Wisconsin for an addional travel fee. Shipping within Wisconsin or to any other state is also an option.
15. Do You Require Reservations & A Deposit?
Answer: Yes, we require a reservation, a signed rental agreement and a $200.00 deposit at the time of booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. The balance of your payment is due at the event in case extra rental time or chocolate is requested
